First stage of ELEMENTS 2.0 Promo...
Promo on Wednesday was ended a great one. We had Josh, John J, Jee Yann feat. Han Jie, a talented UTARian guitarist from Kedah for promo of the day. Josh on Bass, John J on drums and Han Jie on lead guitar, just can't get enough from this group, especially those improvisations, these guys rocks!
During the promo, we even had an audience to sing. This audience gave the crowd "Fairy Tales" by Guang Liang and "That's Why (You go away)" by Michael Learns to Rock.
The first stage of promo will be ended on Friday. That is only the first part. We'll have more in the coming week. Stay tuned!

What's new for ELEMENTS 2.0
In Elements'07, concert was categorized into 5 main sessions. The Punk, Classic, Fusion, Acoustic and Alternative sessions. Not to forget, the Guest Performers session by the band DISTANCE feat. UTAR FES very own lecturers Dr. Satesh & Dr Pozi.
In ELEMENTS 2.0, we're gonna have a total new line up for the party. Total freedom is given to all the bands to choose the songs. No limit, no specific genre, no problem.
Introduce the bands of the night: J4N(J-4-N.blogspot.com), Dress to Depressed, Endless Travelling Map, Alex Samuel and fusion band, Nic feat. FES Music Club and more.

Promotion started!
The promotion for ELEMENTS 2.0 has been started today. The first round of promotion was going well, in the UTAR FES canteen. Band had picked "Drive" by Incubus and "Neon" by John Mayer and some other nice songs for the songs of the day. We picked peak hour for the promotion (11am-1pm), but it ended up finished at 2pm. One of the band member was checking out the Elements I DVD.
The saddest part, no photo taken. So i give you this, the backdrop of the day.

ELEMENTS 2.0, a party organise by UTAR Faculty of Engineering Music Club. During Elements I, the concert was played by few talented musicians, our very own FES UTARians. The concert ended a successful one at the end of the night of 27th July 2007.
This time, we're gonna make it even bigger, we invited guest performers from PJ UTAR, from Ammonite Muzik Enterprise (Authorized Yamaha Music School), a mix band HELP University College + Subang Audio Engineering College, an indie rock band called Dressed to Depressed. If you guys have seen our Elements I promo video, i said "this is gonna be the best that hits UTAR".
I would say ELEMENTS 2.0 is not only a concert, its a party. Other than band performances, we're gonna give u dance floor too, thanks to DJ Frozensteps. He is the man. He was once invited to play for club in Johor Bahru, and soon you can see him in different clubs in KL.
